Cataloguer, Medieval Manuscripts
One-half time position cataloguing medieval manuscripts. Advanced degree required. Some experience cataloguing necessary. Access to excellent research library required. Good writing skills (in English). Wide knowledge of languages (manuscripts in Latin, Italian, French, Flemish, Spanish, and German – not all languages required, please specify abilities and areas of expertise). Paleography and codicology background necessary. Wide experience with various types of texts necessary – liturgical, historical, philosophical, theological, legal, literary, documents.

Two to three monthly trial, paid on a per manuscript basis only, 4 manuscripts monthly, before position would commence. Work in close collaboration with owner and other cataloguers. Position could include some business development, correspondence with Special Collections librarians, work on topic-specific published catalogues, etc.
Start date: immediately
