Joseph T. Snow, Prof. Emeritus from Michigan State University and based in Madrid since 2003 has been awarded the “Premio Manuel Criado de Val” in the celebration of the XXVIII Premios Nacionales “Cultura Viva”. There are, every two years, fifteen such awards (music, art, narrative, medicine, architecture, etc). The Criado de Val award is for consistently high quality work in the area of medieval Spanish literature.
