Shannah Rose (PhD candidate, Institute of Fine Arts, New York University) has been awarded the Samuel H. Kress Foundation/Marian and Andrew Heiskell Rome Prize to support her project, “The Codex Rios and the Reception of Mesoamerican Pictography in Early Modern Italy.”
The Accademia della Crusca has accepted and will make available Julia Bolton Holloway’s donation of her fifty years of research on Brunetto Latini.
