The Medieval Academy of America is proud to serve as co-host for Part 1 of a three-part worldwide Digital Medievalist symposium, “The Past, Present, and Future of Digital Medieval Studies.” Part 1 will focus on Digital Medieval Studies in the Americas, centering the importance of images and imaging for medievalists working on the western side of the Atlantic. (Monday, May 24, 11 AM – 3:30 PM EDT). This symposium will be followed by “Asia & Oceania: Digital Transformations” (Friday, June 11) and “Africa & Europe: Diving Into Sources” (Monday, June 21).
